Community Guidelines

1. Welcome to the Community

Hellbound Hearts is an 18-and-over community for horror fans, creators, and professionals. These Community Guidelines explain what we expect from everyone who takes part — in posts, comments, messages, forums, events, and theater rooms. The short version: celebrate horror, and treat real people with respect.

These guidelines work alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By using Hellbound Hearts, you agree to follow all three.

2. General Guidelines

To keep Hellbound Hearts welcoming for everyone, all members must follow these rules:

• No harassment or hate speech — do not harass, bully, threaten, or target others, and do not post hateful content based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
• No illegal content — do not post content that is illegal or that promotes, facilitates, or solicits illegal acts.
• Respect others — disagree without personal attacks, and honor other members' boundaries, privacy, and consent.
• Horror is welcome; real harm is not — fictional horror, special-effects gore, cosplay, and dark themes are part of this community, but do not promote, glorify, or incite real-world violence, gore, or harm targeting real people.
• No spam — no spam, scams, misleading links, or automated/bot activity.

Content that violates these guidelines is removed, and the responsible accounts may be suspended or permanently banned. You can report content or block abusive users at any time from within the app.

3. Child Safety & Prohibition of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

Hellbound Hearts is an adults-only platform for users 18 and older. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

You may not use Hellbound Hearts to create, upload, post, share, solicit, or distribute any content — or engage in any conduct — that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a minor (any person under 18). This includes, without limitation:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, real, animated, or computer-generated;
• Sexualization of a minor — any depiction or portrayal of a minor in a sexual manner;
• Grooming — communicating with a minor to facilitate sexual contact or the exchange of sexual imagery, online or offline;
• Sextortion — threatening or blackmailing anyone using real or claimed access to intimate imagery;
• Child trafficking — advertising, soliciting, or facilitating the commercial sexual exploitation of a minor;
• Any other content or behavior that exploits or endangers children.

Reporting: If you encounter content or behavior that may exploit or endanger a child, report it immediately using the in-app Report function or by emailing childsafety@hellboundhearts.com.

Our response: Upon obtaining knowledge of CSAE or CSAM, we act promptly in accordance with these standards and applicable law — removing the content, terminating the responsible account(s), preserving relevant information, and reporting confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the appropriate authorities.

4. Reporting & Points of Contact

If you see something that breaks these guidelines, report it. Every post, comment, profile, message, and theater room includes a Report option, and our team reviews reports promptly.

• Child-safety concerns (potential CSAE or CSAM) — report immediately using the in-app Report function or by emailing childsafety@hellboundhearts.com, our designated child-safety point of contact.
• All other violations — use the in-app Report function on the relevant post, comment, profile, message, or theater room.
