Watch Parties
Organize synchronized horror movie viewings with fellow fans. Schedule watch sessions, invite friends, chat before the show, and share your event on social media.
What are Watch Parties?
Watch Parties are synchronized movie viewing events where horror fans watch the same film at the same time from their own homes. Unlike regular events, Watch Parties are specifically designed for virtual group movie experiences.
Perfect for:
- • Horror movie marathons with friends
- • Discovering cult classics together
- • Coordinating streaming schedules
- • Building community around horror films
- • Remote movie nights
Key Features:
- • Movie-specific events
- • Streaming service integration
- • Pre-watch discussion threads
- • Privacy controls
- • Social sharing
💡 Note About Streaming
Watch Parties help coordinate when to watch and where to find the movie, but each participant needs their own streaming service subscription. We don't provide the actual streaming — we just make it easy to watch together!

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a premium streaming subscription?
Each attendee needs their own subscription to the streaming service where the movie is available. Watch Parties coordinate when and where to watch, but don't provide the actual streaming.
Can I watch with people in different time zones?
Yes! Watch party times are displayed in each user's local time zone automatically. Make sure to confirm the start time in the pre-watch discussion to avoid confusion.
Is there a limit to how many people can join?
No limit! Since everyone watches on their own streaming account, there's no capacity restriction. The more the merrier!
Can I chat during the movie?
The pre-watch discussion closes when the movie starts. For during-movie chat, consider using Discord, group text, or another real-time chat platform. Post-watch discussion should happen in the movie's forum thread!
What if the movie gets removed from streaming?
If you notice the movie is no longer available on the selected service, comment in the pre-watch discussion. The organizer can edit the watch party to update the streaming service or suggest alternatives.
